The original stone radio. This is our very first radio and we are very proud of it. Two years ago we ventured out on a quest to make the best and most beautiful radios in the world… and here is the first result of our labours. Absolutely cutting edge technology is married to exquisite organic design reflective of radio’s history… and future. Each machine is virtually made by hand; it’s solid case is of a moulded stone composite promising the closest thing to inert speaker enclosures, vital for truly accurate sound reproduction. The power of the amplifier section in Hunter Gibb’s original stone radio is awesome, with total harmonic distortion figures rivalling the best ‘audiophile quality’ high fidelity amplifiers.

Smooth and strong bass response is assured by our discreet, yet remarkably powerful subwoofer system.

The rest of the frequency range is accurately reproduced with warmth and clarity by separately enclosed, highest quality loudspeakers for both left and right channels.

To ensure consistent, industry leading sound reproduction, each of Hunter Gibb’s original stone radios can be tuned to any new environment for optimum performance with it’s unique, rear mounted five stage graphic equaliser. This will allow the owner to cater for the individual characteristics of most installations. We believe totally in our product and consequently back our original stone radio with a full five year warranty.
